The National Endowment for the Humanities is holding a summer stipend opportunity for faculty.
Summer stipends provide $6,000 for two consecutive months of full-time research and writing. Recipients must work full-time on their projects for these two monthsand may hold other research grants supporting the same project during this time. Summer stipends normally support work carried out during the summer months, but arrangements can be made for other times of the year.
Applicants must be nominated by their institution to apply, and we are limited to two faculty nominees.
Interested? Submit a proposal for IUP's internal competition via InfoReady Review by Friday, August 7, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.
More information about the NEH summer stipend competition can be found on the National Endowment for the Humanities website. Please note, however, that the internal competition to select IUP's two nominees only requires submitting a proposal via the online application by August 7. IUP's two internal nominees will be selected within two weeks to allow for time to put together the full NEH proposal.
