SHP is returning in Summer 2026!
The Cook Honors College at Indiana University of Pennsylvania will offer Design, Build, Play as part of its 2026 Summer Honors Program from July 6 to July 24. This course will be offered for dual enrollment instruction credits as HONR 281. This three-week course will be comprised of two hands-on workshops for one week on campus, with two weeks of online instruction that students can complete from home.
HONR 281 is split into two main areas of focus: games and storytelling with Prof. Mike Sell (English) and creative engineering in our STEAMSHOP with Prof. Rick Adkins (Mathematics).
The total cost for room, board, programming, and three credits of instruction is $200 for all students. Thanks to the assistance of state and federal grants, we are able to reduce the total cost for all students.

SHP Orientation
Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. via Zoom
Students need to register for orientation. A registration form has been emailed to all admitted SHP students by Kevin Berezansky on Tuesday, May 26, around 1:00 p.m. Refer to this email sent to your IUP email for the registration link. We look forward to seeing you there!
