We’re living in fast-changing times, so why should you invest your time and money going to college at IUP instead of going directly into the workforce? Advancements in technology have allowed people to be better connected and have more access to resources
and jobs without the need of a college degree. However, going to college is more than just obtaining a job after four years! On this Zoom call, we’ll learn from two alumni where their IUP education has taken them.

It’s not just about speaking Spanish. College is not easy, and having the right support system around you is definitely important during your time as a college student. For that reason, we emphasize community here at IUP. In this Zoom session, you’ll
learn from one of our Latinx faculty members how professors make sure students feel included and how the community welcomes new students from all walks of life. You’ll also hear from a current student how important the support she’s received from
people who she has met at IUP has been in order for her to make it to senior year. From emotional support to academic resources, IUP is a place where students cultivate relationships and build community.

During this virtual session you will hear from the IUP Office of Alumni and Friends and meet some of our amazing graduates. They will share how IUP played a role in their career, business, and personal success. Lastly, you will hear from some of our students
about their first year at IUP.
