Mr. Frederick’s current responsibilities include advising corporations, government agencies, and substantial family enterprises in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leverage buyouts, restructurings, strategic alliances, and joint ventures and managing the investment of the firm’s capital in risk situations. He is a member of a number of professional societies, is a frequent speaker and contributor to written periodicals, and serves on the board of directors of a number of companies.
Prior to his current position, he was a partner at Touche Ross, where he was a founding member of that firm’s financial services center and where he founded Touche Ross Corporate Finance Group. Previous to his accounting career, Mr. Fredericks established, built, and sold two separate concerns in the fields of construction and retail distribution. David was also named the IUP Business Golf Classic Eberly Entrepreneur of the Year.
David holds a BS in Management from IUP; is a CPA (New York State); is a former executive-in-residence at Hofstra University and adjunct professor of Finance at Pace University; and has served as a guest lecturer at the Executive Program at Columbia University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, the Marketing Science Institute, and the Strategic Planning Institute.
