September 30, 202010:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.Virtual Event
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to meet representatives from local and national companies and organizations.
Please note: The Career Expo and Graduate School Fair will be held this year as a virtual event. Additional details will be announced once final plans have been made.
Employers will be looking for individuals for full-time positions, as well as internships and co-ops. The Career Expo and Graduate School Fair also provides you an opportunity to explore employers and career opportunities that you may have never thought
about. Participating also provides you with an opportunity for face-to-face contact with recruiters and a chance to polish your networking skills (no matter how brief your contact). Although the Career Expo and Graduate School Fair is intended primarily
for IUP juniors and seniors of all majors, freshmen and sophomores may also attend to get a general idea of what a career fair entails, as long as they are dressed appropriately. Students attending the event are encouraged to wear business or business
casual attire, and anyone dressed inappropriately (sweat pants, dirty shirts, ripped jeans, etc.) will not be admitted.
Upperclassmen and alumni are encouraged to take the time to prepare a résumé and bring multiple copies (30 to 40) with you.
To help you prepare for the Career Expo and Graduate School Fair, view our tips on writing a résumé, job fairs, and interviewing.
The IUP Career Expo and Graduate School Fair 2020 offers employers with full-time and part-time entry-level, internship, and co-op positions an opportunity to meet with alumni, graduating students, and upperclassmen. Candidates attending
will be IUP current students or graduates of the university with associate, bachelor, and/or graduate degrees. Employers will be able to speak with candidates, discuss their organizations, and conduct brief interviews.
Please check out career fair sponsorship opportunities listed below.
Our Graduate School Fair is the perfect opportunity for universities to recruit undergraduate students and alumni who are considering graduate school. IUP offers more than 140 majors for undergraduates and more than 60 master’s and doctoral
programs, so you’re sure to recruit quality, motivated students from programs you’re seeking.
Put your organization in the spotlight while supporting programming and new initiatives for our students! Providing financial resources allows your organization to support activities that benefit IUP students. Your organization will make an impact and
as a result will enjoy an increased level of visibility and branding on campus. Contact Kelsey Thompson by e-mail at K.E.Thompson3@iup.edu, or call 724-357-2235 for more information
