    Biography

    Dr. Mutchnick joined the IUP faculty in 1982. He published a DVD for use in Introduction to Criminology and was a coauthor with Randy Martin and W. Timothy Austin of the book Criminological Thought: Pioneers Past and Present (2009). In early 2009, he published two books: one entitled Introduction to Criminology, which will be paired with the DVD; and a second with Bruce Berg and Connie Ireland, a workbook for research methods. In addition to being a member of the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice for 30+ years, Dr. Mutchnick served as president of IUP-APSCUF, the union representing the faculty.
