There are many scholarships out there for education abroad programs.
This site contains a list of scholarships available for students interested in studying abroad. The information is organized into section, campus scholarships, Pennsylvania State System scholarships, and nationwide scholarships.
As you look through this list, don’t forget to also check other sites like

IUP students studying for a semester or longer qualify for these scholarships if they meet the criteria that the scholarship donors have specified. Decision on these scholarships will be made based on the materials that you submit for your education abroad
Marla Sabo Scholarship for Studies Abroad
The following opportunities are for IUP students who are participating in an education abroad program, a Pennsylvania resident, and a Pell or PHEAA grant recipient.
The Pennsylvania State Employees Credit Union started this scholarship to provide funding for Pennsylvania State System students to participate in international educational experiences to help them explore cultures, life experiences, and
world views different from their own. There will be 10 awards at $2,000 each per year.

Other scholarships for Study Abroad which students can obtain information and apply independently. There are many sites that list available scholarships. Two that we feel are particularly useful for students are:

The Educational Office, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Washington, D.C. has approved 10 Chinese Government Scholarship awards specifically for American undergraduate students attending AASCU member colleges and universities
who wish to study at a Chinese university for the 2014–15 academic year. Each scholarship is valued at approximately $10,000 US dollars. The scholarships will be distributed to the host universities in China, not directly to the American
students. International round-trip airfare is the responsibility of individual students.
