The Arts-in-Education partner ArtsPath at Indiana University of Pennsylvania will present its 2022 Regional Poetry Out Loud recitation competition, featuring the school champions of participating schools in Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Indiana, and Jefferson counties, and the DuBois Area School District.
Each student will have already competed at the classroom level and their school-wide competition for the opportunity to recite in the ArtsPath regional competition. The winner of the regional competition will move on the to state competition against 13 other regional champions, with the state winner moving on to represent Pennsylvania in the national competition.
This is the 16th year for the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation to continue their partnership in presenting this most successful and longest running program in the history of the NEA. In Pennsylvania, POL is facilitated by the 14 organizations that partner with the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, and make up the PCA's Arts-in-Education partnership.
NOTE: The "snow date" for this competition is Wednesday, February 9, at the same time and location.
