April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. On April 13, we take back the night for survivors of sexual assault. Join us and show your support.
Virtual Speak Out: recording available at 4:00 p.m.
- Members of the Haven Project will give a voice to survivor’s stories via Haven Project social media, the Haven Project website, and IUP’s YouTube channel.
Chalk the Walk: 6:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
- Help us chalk messages of support throughout the Oak Grove. All materials and messages will be provided.
Lighting of the Luminaries: 7:30 p.m.
- Each luminary represents the number of students that have been impacted by sexual violence on our campus. One thousand, seven hundred and eighty-three lights on display, white to represent the TGQN (transgender, gender queer, and gender non-conforming) community, purple to represent women, and teal to represent men.
