The Haven Project invites you to volunteer for events in October for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Join us to learn about domestic and dating violence, resources that are available to help, and ways to offer support.
According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence
- One in four women and one in seven men aged 18 and older in the US have been the victim of severe physical violence by an intimate partner in their lifetime.
- Intimate partner violence alone affects more than 12 million people every year
The more informed you are, the more prepared you can be to recognize and stop abuse.
