The Crimson Youth Choir, the vocal ensemble of the IUP Community Music School for children and youth ages 7 through 18, will present their end-of-semester concert.
Note: The new location is the mainstage in Waller Hall.
The ensemble is comprised of two groups—the Crimson Children's Choir for younger singers, and Vocé for older and more advanced singers.
Selections will include stand-alone numbers of “True Light” by Keith Hampton, a traditional Indonesian piece titled “Ratoh Duek, Ad Astra” by Jacob Narverud, and then a Charlie Brown mini-musical which will feature the tunes “Suppertime,” “Book Report,” and “Little Known Facts.”
The group is led by director Kye-Won Doyle, M’19). She is assisted by current IUP music student Colby Settles. Evan Engelstad is the accompanist.
