Administered by the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, the System-wide Climate Survey is open to all IUP students, faculty, and staff between January 31 and March 4. The survey is anonymous and designed to take the pulse of each university's campus climate while helping us identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for continued growth.
Look for the survey invitation email from Viewfinder, the system's third-party partner for this survey, in your IUP inbox. Increased participation will lead to more representative results, which helps the university’s effort to monitor and improve its campus climate.
No personal identifying information will be collected from any survey participant. In addition, confidentiality safeguards implemented by the State System and university levels are designed to protect participant anonymity.
The System-wide Climate Survey is the first of two important surveys for IUP students during the spring 2022 semester. Starting on March 8, IUP will again be among the 1,000+ universities to participate in the National Survey for Student Engagement. While the System-wide Climate Survey is open to the entire campus community, NSSE is specifically designed for first-year students and seniors.
