Founding Artistic Director of Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Mark Clayton Southers tells his humorous and very human story about moments in his life where he had to say “yes” and persevere.
Mark is a Black American who is currently writing a 10-play cycle on the Black experience in America. He is the former director of the August Wilson Center in Pittsburgh and is a national expert on Wilson’s plays, having produced and directed all 10 of the cycle to critical acclaim and awards.
