If your idea of a perfect complement to your holiday décor includes a miniature train weaving through a snowy landscape, then this exhibit will stir your memories.
Helping to set the mood of the season, the University Museum will host an exhibit of various model trains displayed and organized by Tom Ott and the local Train Collectors Association. Trains will be depicting model railroading evolution from the 1900s to present day. Along with these trains, they will be featuring locally created quilts. In addition, the work of the Plumcreek Country Stitchers Quilt Guild will grace the walls of the Museum along with holiday trees, decorations, and toys.
Admission is free.
A reception will be held November 12, 6:00–8:30 p.m.
In addition to viewing the exhibit and enjoying refreshments, guests can sing along to train-themed songs with musician Alan Luckey.
