These superbly precise dancers combined with highly inventive choreography resonates within the soul. Using the artistic director's Asian heritage, KYL/D is able to transport any audience to a completely new cultural setting celebrating life and the ability of dance to take of taking each viewer on a journey of self-discovery. They will also perform a piece with selected members of the IUP Dance Theater.

The IUP Percussion Ensemble and the IUP Dance Theater combine their talents to present an evening concert featuring the original compositions and choreography of alumni, students, and faculty—all “home grown” at IUP.

Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo

Best known as “The Trocks,” this internationally traveled group of professional male dancers performs both classical and modern dance repertoire and mix it all up by dancing en pointe—on their toes. The comedy and spectacle never stop in this artistically precise, family-friendly, colorful, and whimsical romp through a variety of dance repertoire.

The Princess and the Pea…Brained

April 6 and 7, 7:00 p.m.; April 8, 2:00 p.m.; Zink Hall Dance Theater

A retelling of the famous fairytale The Princess and the Pea, this version takes a few zany twists. The IUP Dance Theater presents this much-loved story bringing the oddball characters, comical situations, and timeless love story to life. This is another performance amusingly appropriate for all ages.
