Guadalupe is a native of Guanajuato, Mexico. At age nine, she immigrated to Pennsylvania, where she currently resides. Guadalupe has received numerous awards and scholarships for her character, courage, and competence to bring about change. Much of her success is attributed to her active involvement in extracurricular activities and in her community, as well as to the people who have helped her throughout her academic career. In 2013, she was awarded the Board of Governors Scholarship from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She attends the Robert E. Cook Honors College there, pursuing a BS in Regional Planning-Environmental and a minor in Sociology.
