The IUP Community Music School, located in Cogswell Hall, provides noncredit private lessons, ensembles, and classes in music year-round to students of all ages in the Indiana community.
The IUP Community Music School ensembles and classes will not be meeting this fall due to health
concerns and limiting the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
that they can be offered in the spring 2021 semester, but it obviously
depends on the situation with the pandemic. We should be able to
announce in early January 2021 whether ensembles can be held as normal.
However, registration for both online and in-person private

Between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday, all posted parking requirements for the campus lots and parking garage are strictly enforced.
After 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends, all campus lots and the parking garage—including the reserved spaces in the garage—are free.

The fall 2020 semester officially begins on Monday, August 31, one week after the start of the IUP fall semester, and continues through Sunday, December 13.
Registration opens on Monday, August 3. Fall offerings will include in-person and online private lessons on all instruments with various levels of instructors.
The spring 2021 semester officially begins on Monday, January 25, one week after the start of the IUP spring semester, and continues through Sunday, May 9.
Registration opens on Tuesday, December 1. Spring offerings will continue to include private lessons on all instruments with various levels of instructors, as well as ensembles and various classes, TBD.
The summer 2020 session officially begins on Monday, June 1, and runs through Sunday, August 9.

The IUP Community Music School assesses a $25 registration fee per individual student, per semester for fall and spring, and a reduced $20 fee for the summer. This fee supports a very small portion of the total administrative costs associated with running
