policy statement in early April by President Michael Driscoll in regard
to the COVID-19 threat, and the announcement that all summer courses for
the university will be online with no face-to-face instruction, the IUP Community Music School also canceled all face-to-face instruction through the end of the summer 2020 semester.
However, registration for online private lessons is OPEN and will be ongoing and rolling through Friday, July 10.

Registration for all IUPCMS online private lessons officially opens on Monday, May 4.
Note 1: As it is throughout the entire year, private lesson registration is flexible and ongoing throughout the semester; however, most students sign up for a full semester of lessons, or nearly the full semester, depending
on their schedules. The summer 2020 semester is 10 weeks; a minimum of five lessons is required.
Note 2: The crimson “Register Now” bar found throughout the IUPCMS website is only for students NEW to the IUP Community Music School. Anyone who has been a student in the past should simply email email@example.com to register for the upcoming semester or to make inquiries.
If you are registering for the first time and the “Register Now” button does not work for you, please immediately email firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know!
The IUP Community Music School assesses a reduced registration fee of $25 per individual student per semester during the fall and spring semesters, and a reduced $20 registration fee per individual student during the summer.
This fee supports a very small portion of the total administrative costs associated with running the school and helps keep participation costs as low as possible.
