“Raquel has served as the live-in maid for the Valdes family for twenty-three years. Neither truly a member of the family nor simply a servant, she inhabits an undefined space somewhere in between. Threatened when the family decides to bring on extra help, she engages in a series of increasingly frantic acts to hold on to her position.”—Rotten Tomatoes

For more than fifteen years, the Office of International Education has organized and sponsored the Foreign Film and Music Series during the Spring semester.
The festival shows six recent foreign films, in their original language with English subtitles. Most evenings, local musicians perform before the film. All showings are free.
This year, films will be shown in McVitty Auditorium, Sprowls Hall. Shows begin at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
