Music faculty members Stephanie Caulder, Terri Wacker, and Jason Worzbyt performed at the annual conference of the International Double Reed Society held on the campus of Miami University (Ohio) on July 8, 2012.

The International Double Reed Society was established in December 1971 and is a worldwide organization of double reed (oboe and bassoon family) players, instrument manufacturers, and enthusiasts. The society has over 4,400 members from 56 countries. Within the United States, 50 states as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico are represented.

The trio was selected to perform a half recital, including a work by Jurriaan Andriessen and a trio written for them by New Jersey composer Bruce Yurko. Several current IUP oboe and bassoon students also attended the conference and volunteered their time as conference assistants.
