This workshop will be held on Thursday, February 28, from 5:15–6:15 p.m. at Suites on Maple East, G-60 (Center for Health and Well-Being).

Please come or refer students to come.

This thought-provoking, interactive workshop for women focuses on examining various sexual encounters experienced by college women that are not commonly discussed in traditional sex education. Attendees will have a chance to learn more about hookup culture on college campuses as well as hear the perspectives of other women on the subject. The workshop will discuss the impact of gender and socialization on various types of sexual encounters and give women the opportunity to ask questions about the experience of hooking up and hanging out while at college. It will also give women the opportunity to learn about sexual empowerment and think about what that means for them..
