Three Campus Police Officers Recognized for Outstanding Service

Officer Mark Broskin, Officer Charity Butz, and Lieutenant David Kressley of the IUP Police Department were recently recognized for outstanding service by the Office of Public Safety.

Officer Broskin was named 2012 Officer of the Year for dedication and hard work on behalf of the department.

Officer Butz earned two Life Saving Commendations for service including aiding and intervening to save the lives of two individuals in 2011 and 2012 and thorough investigation that led to the arrest and conviction of multiple suspects related to a theft incident in 2012.

Lieutenant Kressley earned a Life Saving Commendation for using CPR to save the life of someone who was experiencing a heart attack in 2012.
