IUP music faculty member Linda Jennings will present lectures, master classes, and concerts with pianist and University of Central Oklahoma faculty member Chindarat Charoenwongse at Rangsit and Chulalongkorn Universities in Bangkok and Payap University in Chiang Mai in June 2013.

The concerts will include works by American composers highlighting compositions composed specifically for Jennnings and Charoenwongse. These new works include “Serenade” by retired IUP professor Daniel Perlongo, “Cello Dance” by Samuel Magrill, and “Dances with Leaves” by Keith White.

In July, Jennings will also perform with Payap faculty members Ohm Teyoon, violinist, and Atsuko Seta, pianist, in a chamber recital at Payap University. She has also been invited to present a two-day string pedagogy workshop for cellists of the Chiang Rai Youth Symphony in northern Thailand.
