Department of Art, showcases the
collaborative work of sculptor and video artist Derek Larson and painter Marc
Mitchell. The exhibit addresses how we as American consumers navigate the
landscape. Each day, there are signs to follow, symbols to consume, people to
text, and images to take in.

video and painting. Both artists attempt to meet in the middle where codes of
written and painterly language join hands with representations of figures and
a resident of Seattle, received his degrees from Yale and the Herron School at
Indiana University. Mitchell holds degrees from Boston University and the University
of Tampa and has exhibited extensively across the U.S.
