Starting September 3, ihelp will be the new, and best, way to contact the Web Team.
Don’t worry, web maintainers—you’ll still be able to call or e-mail the Web Team when you need to. It’s an emergency? Give us call. Need to be walked through something? Give a call. But most of the requests we get by e-mail will be better handled via ihelp.
Using ihelp also means that you’ll no longer have to decide whether you need to contact IT Services or the Web Team. Submit whatever you have through ihelp and we’ll make sure it gets to the right place.
And lastly, ihelp will help us better handle larger requests. If a request looks like it will take more than about three hours, we’ll look into bumping your request up to project status, and talk to you about how we can fit it into the Web Team’s upcoming schedule.
