Remaining Mindfulness Days, Open to All

The Mindfulness Living Learning Community and the Center for Health and Well-Being are cosponsoring three more days of mindfulness training for IUP faculty, staff, graduate students, and community members at the College Lodge. Here is full information about the remaining workshops.

Mindfulness is a practice of deepening awareness of the present moment. These practices have been demonstrated to promote greater awareness, help focus attention, and deepen a sense of presence and compassion towards others. It also increases joy and happiness in our lives.

Katie Hammond Holtz has been a meditation teacher since 2002 and has been a practitioner of mindfulness meditation since 1991. She has led mindfulness retreats around the country. She is a graduate of the Doctor of Psychology program at IUP.

IUP Counseling Center
