The University Museum’s next exhibit, Capturing the Moment: Photography at IUP, celebrates “those moments that make up our lives,” according to Chris Juengel, a member of the Communications Media faculty at IUP and one of the curators of this new show. The exhibit opens on November 16, 2013.

Cosponsored by the Communications Media Department and the College of Education and Educational Technology, the exhibition features more than 140 photographs, including traditional landscapes and portraits as well as images produced with special techniques.

More than 70 photographers—students, faculty, and alumni of the department—are represented. Heather Tabacchi, Shanna Bausert, Julie Gomboc-Turyan, and Amanda Henretty worked with Juengel to curate and produce the exhibition.
