Eileen Glisan, Department of Foreign Languages, presented at the annual convention of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages, held November 20–23, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. She copresented the full-day, pre-conference workshop, “Enhancing Instruction with Integrated Performance Assessment,” which was attended by 60 K-16 teachers.
Glisan also moderated the research plenary, “Research Priorities—Phase II: Using Research to Move Language Education Forward,” as well as the follow-up session, “Research Priorities: Foreign Language Teacher Preparation Models: Documentation, Implementation, and Outcomes.”
The 2014 ACTFL convention was attended by over 6,000 language educators across levels of instruction.
