Do you have an up-to-date activity-fee paid I-Card? If you do, remember “HolyIUP” and
you’ll be eligible to receive $2 off on up to four tickets to the Broadway
musical Sister Act, set to kick off the first day of the spring semester.
Based on the popular movie of the same name, the touring
show comes direct from New York on Tuesday, January 21, 2015. It starts at 8:00
p.m. in Fisher Auditorium of IUP’s Performing Arts Center.
To receive the discount, tickets must be ordered online, or tickets for the Lively Arts. When checking out, enter the discount
code HOLYIUP and you will receive $2 off for each I-Card ticket purchased. There
is a limit of four tickets per I-Card, and this discount is only available when purchasing tickets online in advance.
The production is produced by Whoopie Goldberg, who also
starred in the movie. Sister Act features
an original score by eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken, the genius behind many of
the world-famous songs from Disney movies, including The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and Enchanted. Lyrics are by Menken’s
longtime collaborator, Glenn Slater.
