Posted on 2/3/2015 11:19:51 AM

If you are an IUP faculty member, we hope that you will look for students who are demonstrating excellence in scholarship and encourage them to share their accomplishments with the IUP community at the Undergraduate and Graduate Scholars Forums.

The IUP 2015 Undergraduate Scholars Forum (USF) will be held on Tuesday, April 7, and the 2015 Graduate Scholars Forum (GSF) will be held on Wednesday, April 8.

The purpose of these conferences is to provide IUP students across all disciplines with an opportunity to present their original research, scholarly activities, teacher work samples, or creative works. The events are cosponsored by the Office of the President and the School of Graduate Studies and Research.

Submissions are due by 5:00 p.m. on February 27, 2015.

Forum details are available at the Undergraduate Scholars Forum website and at the Graduate Scholars Forum website. Access the proposal submission system at the following websites:

There are different presentation types to meet the needs of various disciplines. The USF and GSF will allow the following types of presentations. You can find descriptions of these at the Forum details website.

  • Oral paper presentations
  • Poster presentations
  • Business case competition (USF only)
  • Performances/Exhibits
  • Juried Art Exhibit
