Summer Education Abroad Programs

Are you tired of winter in western Pennsylvania?  Checking out some of the summer education abroad opportunities may help warm your spirit. There are many programs to choose from across the globe, including a few programs highlighted in this post.

Below are a few of the summer programs at our partner universities. Follow the links for more information about each program.

Business Programs:

Duisburg BEST is a four-week business program running from May 26 to June 27 held in Duisburg, Germany. All of the courses are taught in English.

ICN Business School holds a business program from June 6 to July 5 in Metz, France. All of their courses are taught in English as well.

Language Programs:

Kansai Gaidai University is offering a new Experience Japan Program this summer for Japanese language. This six-week program runs from June 11 to July 27. 

Shanghai Normal University offers a four- or six-week Chinese Language program running from July to August.

IUP runs a faculty-led program to Costa Rica each summer. Please see the Department of Foreign Languages for more information about that program. The following are Spanish language summer programs at our partner institutions:

The University of Worcester in England offers a two-week program held by their Institute of Health and Society.

Sichuan University in Chengdu, China, offers a two-week summer program with courses offered in English taught by professors from all over the world. 

IUP’s application deadline for summer programs is April 1; however, many of these programs have specific deadlines which can be found on their respective websites. In addition to these programs offered by our partner universities, we also work with SAI Programs, CEA, and ISEP which offer programs as well.
