Friday, March 20, is International Francophonie Day (Journée internationale de la Francophonie), which celebrates the French language and Francophone cultures. It is celebrated all around the world and in the International Organization of La Francophonies’ 77 member states. There are over 274 million French speakers on Earth today.
Thanks to the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and the Department of Foreign Languages, the IUP French Club and faculty will be holding games and activities this Friday (March 20) from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Eberly College of Business to celebrate International Francophonie Day. All are welcome.
