Explore IUP with New Interactive Map

Need to show visitors how to get around? Or find the best route to a building on the other side of campus? Check out the new IUP interactive map for directions, information, and a lot more about our campus.

The interactive map provides driving and walking directions to points on campus, and it’s mobile-device friendly. From your smartphone or tablet, visit www.iup.edu/map and see exactly where you are. Get directions to another building, and the mobile display shows you where to walk next.

  • Looking for a computer lab, dining facility, or fitness center? Check a box and you’ll see how to find what you’re looking for.
  • Need to know where you can park? Check or expand the parking box and you’ll see all your options.

It’s also a great way to share information with someone off campus who’s coming to visit. You can send them an exact location of a building, and they can get directions there using the directions incorporated from Google. You can also click the orange person icon in the upper-right and drag it into a map for a 360° panoramic street view.

Future phases of the map will include our regional campuses, interactive tours of campus, handicapped-accessible routes, and more. We’ll also be adding details ranging from additional building descriptions and photos to locations of emergency phones.

We’re planning to announce the release of the map to students in mid-October. In the meantime, the map is publicly available as we continue to test and refine its features.
