Citizenship Ceremony and Six O’Clock Series Highlight International Education Week

The Office of International Education invites you to join us for a variety of cultural activities and programs as part of International Education Week, October 19 to 26, 2015.

The remaining events this week include:

Friday, October 23

U.S. Citizenship Naturalization Ceremony
11:00 a.m.; Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex: Toretti Auditorium

For the fifth year, IUP has been asked to host a U.S. Citizenship Ceremony for those in the Greater Pittsburgh area. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the OIE. Open to the public.

Monday, October 26

Six O’Clock Series: The Impact of Education Abroad on Career Development
6:00 p.m.—7:30 p.m.; HUB Ohio Room

Martin Tillman, international education consultant on student career development and graduate employability, will discuss how an education abroad program can help prepare global-ready graduates to enter today’s job market.
