The 2016 IUP Undergraduate Scholars Forum (USF) will be held on Tuesday, April 5. The 2016 IUP Graduate Scholars Forum (GSF) will be held on Wednesday, April 6. They are sponsored by President Michael Driscoll and the School of Graduate Studies and Research.

Mark your calendars to come to see the variety of scholarship being conducted by undergraduate and graduate students at IUP! If you are an IUP faculty member, attending the USF and GSF will give you the opportunity to:

  • See the high-quality work that undergraduate and graduate students are doing on our campus across a variety of disciplines.
  • Support students in their efforts to produce scholarly work.
  • Give students an audience. Ask them questions that will help them learn and engage in dialogue about their work.
  • Help students think more deeply about their work by offering ideas from within or outside of their discipline.
  • Get ideas for the kinds of scholarship that your students could present next year at the Forums.
  • Require or encourage students to attend for academic enrichment.
  • Support your faculty colleagues who have mentored students to present their work.
