Amber Racchini and Keith Davidson (graduate student in the Student Affairs in Higher Education program) received International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) from the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). Tutors who complete the 10-hour training program and provide 25 hours of tutoring per semester can become certified tutors.
The ITTPC certifies tutor training in post-secondary educational institutions. It also
authorizes each certified tutor training program to make sure that its tutors have met the
approved ITTPC tutor training program requirements.
The purpose of this program is twofold. First, it provides recognition and positive reinforcement for tutors’ successful work. Second, the certification process sets standards for hiring, training, and evaluating tutors.
Please contact Amber Racchini (email@example.com) if you are interested in becoming a certified tutor.
