The
Employment and Labor Relations Graduate Department is just one tent away from a
full-blown Circus!
The department is pleased to announce the
13th Annual SHRM Scholarship Benefit Dinner was an absolute victory!
The night was filled with circus-themed entertainment, great friends and good
food. because of the success of the event, the SHRM Scholarship dinner raised
substantial funds that will be put toward an endowed scholarship for future employment
and labor relations students.
The night started off with a game of chance, where two
random guests at each table learned that their seat selection made them the night’s first door prize winners. After making a quick guess at the guessing
booth and entering to win some awesome door prizes, guests were promptly served
a delightful meal followed up with good conversation.
Friends, family, students, faculty, administrators, and
alumni came out to honor students in the program, the faculty and the evening's honored guests. Mr. Thomas Delcoco and Mrs. Brooke Bissell were recognized for their
success and achievements since graduating from the ELR program. It was an honor and
pleasure having them both attend this year’s dinner event and share their advice for success.
Everyone that attended seemed to have a great night underneath the circus tent. The department would like to thank everyone for donating,
participating and coming out to this year’s scholarship dinner event and looks
forward to seeing everyone at the next SHRM benefit dinner.
