Follow IUP Anthropology on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and our blog.
You can keep track of what
IUP Anthropology students and faculty are doing through a wide range of social media. Each of the outlets offers a slightly different focus, so pick the ones that match your interests or follow them all.
If you are going to follow one piece of IUP Anthropology social media, make it
Facebook. Our Facebook page highlights upcoming events and is regularly updated with interesting anthropology news articles from all four sub-fields. There is also an Anthropology Club Facebook page that is very helpful to students.
We recently launched an
Instagram page that focuses on the field and lab work of the Archaeology Track and MA Program in Applied Archaeology. This page includes photos from many of our ongoing projects. We also have a blog,
Trowels and Tribulations, that focuses on archaeology at IUP. This summer we will have weekly posts that describe the projects and experiences of students and faculty. Two have already been posted, and there are many more to come. In the fall, the blog will focus on the
experiences of students in the Applied Archaeology MA Program.
We also have a
Twitter account where upcoming events are announced and articles are posted. This is a great way to keep up to date.
If you want to see anthropology students in action, check out the
YouTube channel. There you will find archaeology and cultural anthropology videos from field schools, class projects, and interviews.
