Posted on 9/27/2016 10:01:22 AM

Any IUP student who is interested in learning more about Peace Corps, and especially those who are beginning the application process, are encouraged to attend the Wednesday Workshops this week on September 28 to meet with Lori Frola, IUP’s Peace Corps representative.

These workshops will be held in Delaney B-25, the Office of International Education, at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

At 5:00 p.m. Lori will cover valuable information about Peace Corps, the types of programs, locations, and how to apply to be a Peace Corps volunteer.

Then at 7:00 p.m. Lori will discuss the application process in greater detail. This will be especially useful for any student who is considering beginning an application now for Peace Corps. At this session Lori will go over the applications and help students with their personal statements. There will also be a resume review session, with assistance from IUP’s Career and Professional Development Center.

Be sure to bring your resume to the 7:00 p.m. session. The focus on the Peace Corps will happen this Wednesday only, September 28.
