This past week, the
College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics welcomed back to campus advisory board members to discuss a proposed environmental engineering program.
The advisory board, made up of IUP alumni professionals in the field, met with IUP faculty and students of the departments of Geoscience, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science on Friday, October 7, 2016, to work together toward the college’s future environmental engineering program. CNSM faculty, staff, and students will continue to aid in the creation of the program with help from the advisory board over the next few months.
Participating members of the advisory board included Steve Zbur ’85 (CORE Environmental Services, Inc.), Nancy Kralik ’74 (Fluor Corporation), Charles Bove ’85 (Vista Environmental Consulting, Inc.), David Tourdot ’75 (Penn E&R), and Barry Franz ’76 (Diversified Environmental Consulting LLC).
