  • International Lunch Hour: 12:00–1:15 p.m., Sutton Hall: Blue Room
Join us for a free lunch to kick off this year’s International Education Week events. Attendees can have their name or a phrase written in Chinese or Arabic calligraphy and listen to background piano music provided by IUP Music Performance majors.
  • Art Exhibit: Creative Coexistence: Opening reception hours: 5:00–7:00 p.m., Robert Shaw Grey Space
This art exhibit will represent each participant’s unique perception of coexistence through creative artwork. More information about the Creative Coexistence event .
  • Six O’Clock Series: Dispelling Myths About the Middle East: 6:00–7:30 p.m., HUB: Ohio Room
While media often portrays the Middle East as a place of unrest, this panel discussion will paint a fresh perspective about the rich cultures, education, and current events of this region. Panelists include IUP faculty members Christine Baker and Rachel Sternfeld and Sahar Alshoubaki, PhD student in Literature and Criticism. Here is more information about the Six O’Clock Series.

Activities are organized by IUP Office of International Education.
