International Education Week Continues with the Education Abroad Fair, Student Film Series

Join us for the Education Abroad Fair and other activities that are part of International Education Week at IUP from October 17 through October 21, 2016.

Wednesday’s events include:

  • Education Abroad Fair:  12:00–3:00 p.m., HUB: Atrium 
    Stop by to discover the wide range of education abroad opportunities. Students can obtain information and talk to representatives and alumni about IUP reciprocal exchanges, affiliated programs, faculty-led programs, and overseas volunteer and service-learning opportunities.   • Art Exhibit: Creative Coexistence:  9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., Robertshaw Grey Space 
    This art exhibit will represent each participant’s unique perception of coexistence through creative artwork. This is free and open to the public. More information about the Creative Coexistence event.
  • Student Film Series, Mustang : 5:00–8:00 p.m., HSS: Room 225 
    The film is set in a small town in Turkey in which five orphans face oppression and forced marriage. This film is a winner of several international film awards and highly rated by audience members and critics alike. (2015 Turkish film with English subtitles) 
  • IUP Ovations! Daloy Dance Company:  8:00 p.m., Fisher Auditorium, IUP Performing Art Center 
    The dancers of Daloy use their uniformly strong technique and obvious discipline to produce works that both question and celebrate society. Never restricted by conformity, the company aims to serve as a medium in the development of new and relevant works to forward the discourse on contemporary dance-making and performance.
