Faculty interested in applying for promotion: you won’t want to
miss this informal information/promotion application sharing event
in room 116, Ackerman Hall, from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. on Monday,
October 16, 2017.
Are you considering going up for promotion in the future? Would you
like to see what an electronic IUP promotion application looks
like? Have you ever wondered how your colleagues across the
university organize and present their accomplishments in a promotion
application? If you responded yes to any of these questions, please
plan to attend Promotion Night.
Faculty from across the university who have recently been promoted
will be on hand to share their applications and talk about how they
organized and presented their information. Representatives from the
University-wide Promotions Committee will also be available to
answer questions. This is an informal event, so please feel free to
come and go as your schedule permits. Applications for associate and
full professors will be on display, and light refreshments will be
served. No RSVP is necessary.
This event is a special project of Reflective Practice and is
sponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence. Any questions about
the promotion process should be directed to the chair of the
University-wide Promotion Committee.
