Anthropology's Adams Presents Diversity and Inclusion Training at Masco Corporation

Abigail Adams, Anthropology assistant professor, assisted Masco Corporation in launching its 2018 diversity and inclusion campaign.

Abigail Adams presented a diversity and inclusion training seminar to 50 management-level employees at the Masco Cabinetry factory located in Sayre, Pennsylvania. The Masco Corporation, headquartered in Lansing, Michigan, has initiated a corporate-wide campaign to increase awareness around diversity issues in the workplace. Masco corporation has more than 60 manufacturing facilities in 20 different countries and the leadership of Masco recognizes that diversity and inclusion are critical to successfully operate in a multicultural world.

Adams' work is an example of corporate anthropology, a form of Applied Anthropology.
