Fulbright Scholarship Representative on IUP Campus

Posted on 4/17/2018 2:57:14 PM

On April 25, 2018, IUP will host a representative from Fulbright who will discuss the scholarship awards for undergraduate and graduate students, the fellowship awards for faculty and staff, and the visiting scholar programs for eligible host institutions in the United States.

The Fulbright Scholarship Program is the largest US exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide. The program currently awards approximately 1,900 grants annually in all fields of study, and operates in more than 140 countries worldwide. It is a very prestigious merit-based scholarship open to undergraduate and graduate students alike.

In an effort to promote this program and a merit scholarship culture at IUP more generally, I ask you to consider attending. If there are questions regarding the Fulbright Student program, please contact Christian Vaccaro via e-mail at cvaccaro@iup.edu, or call 724-357-2730.
