The Office of International Education is still accepting applications from faculty, staff, and other community members for the International Friendship Program! The IFP matches community members with two or more international students in an effort to promote goodwill, diversity in understanding, and create lifelong friendships.

This program is valuable for international students and community members alike. International students will have the opportunity to meet people other than their classmates, while community members will be able to meet people from around the world. Participants are required to meet once a month to go out to eat, have coffee, go to a movie, go for a walk, etc.

There is no financial obligation, students do not live with participants, and participants are free to make their own schedules. If interested, complete the online application.

If you have any questions about the program, please contact us by e-mail at or by phone at 724-357-2295.
