IUP and the Falk School of Sustainability have entered into
an articulation agreement in order to help IUP students as they consider
graduate school. The agreement allows IUP students to take a seven-week field course, in the summer before or
after their senior year, with Chatham at a
significant discount.
After the summer course, students are enrolled in
Chatham’s Masters of Sustainability program. With the summer credits completed,
only three semesters are needed to complete the master’s.
Chatham’s
Sustainability program is housed on their Eden Hall campus, a LEED Platinum
facility. Scholarships, assistantships, and employment opportunities are
available on campus for master’s students.
Graduates of the Sustainability
master’s program have a 95 percent employment rate within the first year, in the public
and private sectors.
Peter Walker, dean of the Falk School of Sustainability, will visit IUP on Wednesday, November 28, to discuss the opportunity for IUP students to attend Chatham in this capacity. Please join him in Walsh 104 beginning at 12:05 p.m.
