Allard Co-Edits Book on China

Co-edited by Anthropology Department professor Francis Allard, the volume Memory and Agency in Ancient China. Shaping the Life History of Objects has just been published by Cambridge University Press. Allard also co-authored the Introduction and contributed his own chapter to the volume: “The lives of shovels, vessels, and bells in early south China: Memory, ritual and the power of destination.”
