Submissions to this year’s Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) are due by the end of the day today, February 22, 2019. The application process only requires the name of your project and takes less than a minute to complete, so we encourage all graduate students interested in the event to apply.
In this competition, graduate students have exactly three minutes to present their original scholarship with the aid of one static PowerPoint slide (no animation, no audio, no video).
The preliminary competition will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019, with different sessions throughout the day to accommodate everyone’s schedule. The top scoring participants from the preliminary competition will advance to the final round being held after the IUP Scholars Forum on Wednesday, April 3, at 3:00 p.m. A cash prize will be awarded to the winner of the final round and the peer choice winner.
Graduate students interested in participating in this event can submit a proposal via our InfoReady review system. Questions about the competition can be direct to Sera-Leigh Ghouralal at firstname.lastname@example.org.
