The Office of International Education is still accepting applications from faculty, staff, and other community members for the
International Friendship Program!
The IFP matches community members with two or more international students with the aim of promoting goodwill, diversity in understanding, and creating lifelong friendships.
IFP is valuable and beneficial for international students and community members alike. International students have the opportunity to meet community members and learn about US culture and practice speaking English; community members will be able to meet
people from around the world. Participants are required to meet once a month with their student and meet for coffee, go for lunch, visit a cultural site, or some other activity.
There is no financial obligation, students do not live with participants, and participants are free to make their own schedules. If interested, complete the online application.
If you have any questions about the program, please contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the office 724-357-2295.
